We collect data under principles of necessity, transparency, and minimization, and protect user privacy within this policy framework.

When you download, launch, or use the App, the system may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and session duration. To support node recommendations and troubleshooting, we may process approximate regional information. This data is used for: 1. Node recommendations based on Totoro VPN's route distribution; 2. Performance optimization through anonymized aggregate analysis; 3. Service notifications sent through your reserved email or username when required.

We only transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not share personal information with third parties: 1. Legal process or regulatory requirements; 2. Necessary action to protect users or investigate fraud; 3. Cooperation with entrusted providers under confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, remove the App through the standard uninstall process on your device.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable period afterward. To cancel your account and delete personal information, contact the privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that such information was collected by mistake, we will delete it promptly. Guardians may also contact us through the same email for necessary handling.
